Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) has recently reviewed its COVID Vaccination Policy and risk assessment. The requirement for staff to have two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required from 18 July 2022. The proposed exception to this requirement is those staff who work in a High Support Learning Centre (St Luke’s Arrunga, Kirinari & Wiyanga) including any visitors, volunteers and contractors to these sites.

Technologies (TAS) Teacher – FT Permanent 

We have an exciting full time permanent opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic, creative and innovative Technology teacher. Recent graduates and experienced teachers are welcome to apply. This role is to commence Term 3, Week 7 (29th August) or by negotiation.

Position criteria:  The successful applicant will:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.


  • Have suitable qualifications to teach Technologies (Stages 4-6)

  • See themselves as learners and be committed to ongoing professional learning;

  • Work collaboratively with the Leader of Learning Technologies and peers to design inquiry learning experiences where students exercise choice to demonstrate knowledge and understanding;

  • Lead the development of social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student;

  • Integrate digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning;

  • Demonstrate an interest and understanding in the use of clean technologies in Technology

  • Lead and use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform ‘next steps’ for students;

  • Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and pedagogy and how these underpin:

  • inquiry-based learning;

  • creativity and critical thinking;

  • responses to complex real-world questions and authentic problems;

  • Know and apply NESA and Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) requirements

  • Have demonstrated the understanding and application of the whole school policies and procedures concerning including Codes of Conduct, WHS and student wellbeing..
