About the Role:
As an Education Officer for Primary Learning, you will be a key driver in enhancing teaching and learning practices across our primary schools, providing expert curriculum support and implementing evidence-based strategies to elevate student learning outcomes. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of thousands of students.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the rollout of CSPD’s strategic initiatives and system-wide priorities in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, reporting, and creating optimal learning environments.
Contributing to the development of evidence-based and data-informed insights that are tailored to the unique contexts of our schools, with a clear focus on enhancing teacher effectiveness and improving student learning.
Collaborating in the design and delivery of high-quality professional learning content, initiatives, and programs that strengthen curriculum knowledge and pedagogical practices for primary teachers across the Diocese.
Assisting in the development and implementation of robust data collection processes to accurately measure the effectiveness and impact of educational initiatives.
Fostering effective communication and collaboration between the Learning Outcomes teams, other CSPD directorate teams, schools, and external partners.
About You:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator with a deep commitment to faith-based learning. The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in a primary education setting with a strong understanding of contemporary curriculum and pedagogy.
Demonstrated ability to use data to inform teaching and learning practices and improve student outcomes.
Experience in designing and facilitating professional learning for teachers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
A commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church and Catholic education.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.
