Temporary Co-ordinator Position (2025) with a Permanent teacher position 2 point paid and balance of teaching, coaching and release to effectively serve in the role.
The College Community
Having commenced in 2017 with 86 students across Kindergarten to Year 6, St Luke’s at Marsden Park is a next generation learning community within the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD). As a ‘next generation Catholic Learning Community’ we are designing and establishing the ‘new normal’ for preschool to post school learning in an environment characterised by a flexible, stage based curriculum which nurtures and grows faith-filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world. We now enrol over 1750 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in addition to 59 children per day in our long day centre.
Requirements of the Role. The successful applicant will:
Support the Principal and Leadership Team in the ministry of leadership, reflecting the mission of the Church by modelling respectful relationships with colleagues, students, families and enterprise partners.
Support the implementation of a contemporary diversity framework.
Possess high level communication skills and interpersonal skills to deepen each person’s understanding of an inclusive community.
Use data to support evidence-based practice.
Undertake and model professional learning as a connected educator in a global world.
Promote a culture where enrolments of students with additional learning needs are welcomed.
Liaise with senior school leaders with regards to the allocation and distribution of diversity teachers and teacher assistants.
Honour a professional full-time load made up of teaching, coaching and release/planning.
Relevant qualifications and experience and specialist training.
Functions of the Role. The successful applicant will:
Work closely with Assistant Principal - School of Entrepreneurs (9-12) by establishing and maintaining Personal Plan and Case Management processes.
Assist with the identification of students for further and additional support, 9-12.
Lead the school initiated second phase intervention programs and liaise with relevant CEDP personnel.
Provide support for students.
Meet and liaise with parents where necessary.
Work with teachers in the development of appropriate literacy, numeracy and KLA adjustments for individual students.
Post schools pathways and special provisions for exams and Assessment
Any other duty as required by the Principal.
Qualifications and accreditations:
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
Eligibility to teach in NSW according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
