About the opportunity: 

We’re currently seeking a passionate Full Time Permanent Diversity Teacher/1 Point Wellbeing Leader to join our school community. The successful person will work with our dynamic teaching team and have a clear and shared focus on enhancing the learning of all students. 

  • Promote meaningful and age appropriate learning for all students

  • Maintain safe and inclusive learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans

  • Work collaboratively to plan and implement school programs with a diversity perspective

  • Assist the classroom teacher in identifying and prioritising vulnerable students

  • Assist and support Case Management processes and implements strategies which derives from them

  • Model inclusive teaching practices in order to build the capacity of classroom teachers

  • Work collaboratively within the learning space to build the capacity of students to participate and succeed in regular classroom activities

  • Assist with the delivery of professional learning opportunities for all staff in their field of expertise

  • Perform specific tasks as directed by the principal and their delegate

Qualifications and accreditations:

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance

  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

  • Tertiary Qualification in Education/Teaching
    Statements of Service

  • Experience in Learning Support will be a distinct advantage

Applicants wishing to work in any of  the schools within the Diocese, either as a casual, temporary or full time employee, must be classified with the CSPD.  If you are not already classified, you will need to complete the online registration for teachers process found on the CSPD website.
