About the opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Classroom Teacher to join Holy Spirit, St Clair on a permanent full-time basis. You will work alongside a collaborative team committed to achieving positive learning outcomes for each student.
This position will commence from Term 2, 2023.
About the role:
Provide an extensive pedagogical knowledge base and understanding of how students learn, what affects students’ opportunities to learn and how learning and teaching can be enhanced
Actively promote and support the social and emotional development of children.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment, using equitable processes to maintain a positive classroom ethos
Provide feedback and report on student learning, as well as supporting students to become autonomous learners who can share and reflect upon their learning together with parents and carers
Be enthusiastic and adaptable, demonstrating a growth mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional learning
About you:
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Holy Spirit along with:
Tertiary Qualification in Education
Statements of Service
Working with Children Check clearance
Excellent classroom teaching skills which will enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential
Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.
