About The opportunity
Caroline Chisholm is seeking a skilled, contemporary and passionate Science Leader to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.
This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in Term 1 2026
Key focus areas
The Secondary Science teacher will fit the following criteria:-

Knowledge and experience of the new NSW Syllabuses implementation, as well as strong knowledge base of the subject’s content and effective pedagogies that maximise student learning outcomes.

Applying knowledge and experience of the qualities of effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative teamwork approach.

Capacity to implement the College strategic vision for learning excellence based on the CSPD Strategic Plan for learning growth and excellence.

Modelling impactful teaching and learning that enables students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential.

Commitment to a culture of continuous school and KLA improvement and leading reflective practices with the KLA team.

Ability to lead professional learning in science and whole school activities that promote science engagement by students.

Ability to analyse learning performance data and strategically plan effective teaching, learning and assessment programs to promote student learning growth.
