Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

We are seeking dedicated and inspiring teachers who bring a deep understanding of how to design and deliver learning that supports the physical, social, and intellectual development of every student. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of curriculum content and the developmental sequence across all Key Learning Areas, including Religious Education.
You will understand the fundamental concepts, structure, and inquiry processes that underpin effective teaching. You use this insight to design engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that make learning meaningful and relevant for your students.
As a committed educator, you know how to create safe, inclusive, and challenging classroom environments. You implement fair and consistent behaviour management strategies and continuously reflect on your practice to meet the diverse needs of your learners. You confidently interpret assessment data to identify learning barriers and provide targeted support that helps every student grow and thrive.
You will be confident across all stages of the teaching and learning cycle – from planning and programming to assessment, feedback, and reporting. Most importantly, you value strong connections with families and the wider school community, working to strengthen the vital partnership between school, home, and community in support of each student’s success.

Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CEDP’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
