The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Temporary Part-Time Teacher's Aide to provide valuable support in our Year 4 classroom . This role is available until January 2026 and follows a unique 5-day fortnight schedule:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students in the Year 4 classroom, individually or in small groups, under the guidance of the class teacher.
Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Support students with diverse learning needs and promote an inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom management and supervision of students during learning activities and breaks.
Collaborate effectively with the class teacher and other school staff to support student well-being and academic progress.
Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess:
Demonstrated experience working with primary school-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting.
A genuine passion for supporting student learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
A commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school.
Important Information:
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment, including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with relevant Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct. Classification with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is required for employment in any Diocese school.
