About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Arts Learning Officer to join the CAPTIVATE team on a permanent part-time basis.
The Percussion Tutor undertakes the following responsibilities:
Provide instrument-specific teaching to students both in small groups and, where requested, individually on a weekly basis both during school time and before or after school depending on spacing availability and student timetables.
Provide regular feedback to students and biannual reports to parents.
Provide instrument-specific knowledge to develop ensembles in both rehearsal and performance before and after school.
Provide instrument-specific knowledge to support the work of the Specialist Teacher in the delivery of classroom-based band programs on a weekly basis during school time.
Willingness and ability to deliver the classroom program when the assigned Specialist Teacher is away.
Lead ensembles and workshops under the guidance of the Specialist Teacher both during school time and after school.
Provide assessment, maintenance and cleaning, tagging and logging of instruments.

Demonstrated ability to work creatively and constructively to support diverse need
