Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Parramatta? We're looking for a skilled and proactive Marketing Specialist to be part of our Communications & Engagement Directorate located in North Parramatta.
This role involves strategic marketing, advertising, brand, channel and project management, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate has a balanced mix of hands-on technical skills, brand and design sensibility, confidence in relationship management, media and digital marketing awareness, and focused on quality outcomes.
As a key member in our Marketing team, you will:
Provide strategic marketing advice to build and implement marketing communications and campaigns in line with business needs, including in regard to digital marketing, community building, SEO and website
Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of multi channel advertising campaigns
Evaluating and analysing data to ensure the effectiveness and optimisation of marketing communications activities and projects including suggesting and implementing improvements
Writing copy for and proofing promotional materials, advertising, campaigns and websites
Coordinating and executing social media and email marketing campaigns, including email creation, managing contact databases and overseeing approval and engagement processes
Providing support to the Marketing Manager.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business or Digital Communications field
Minimum five years of marketing, brand management, advertising and promotion, and digital experience, preferably in an education or community setting
Proven track record in developing successful campaigns and achieving goals
Strong understanding and application of strategic marketing principles within specific contexts
Demonstrated understanding of a variety of marketing platforms, including digital marketing
Ability to create, implement, and review effective marketing plans
Creative thinker in a process-oriented environment
Proficient in gathering and analysing data to inform marketing strategies
Skilled in managing collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including school principals and media agencies
Service-oriented and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
Self-starter capable of efficiently and effectively managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
