We are seeking a passionate and professional Comprehensive Assessment Coordinator to join our team.
About the opportunity:
We are seeking a collaborative and skilled individual who will coordinate and deliver a range of assessment services. You will deliver high level advice and proactivity in the area of supporting learning and teaching. You will work in collaboration with families and CSPD staff. More specifically you will:
Coordinate the work of the Assessment team
Collaborate with schools and other professionals to promote school wide mental health and wellbeing initiatives
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students including the provision of cognitive assessments and ASD assessments
Provide recommendations to leaders on approaches to address the needs identified by assessments relevant to the educational setting
Engage with families to support their child and to strengthen home-school partnerships across different schools
Liaise with external agencies and professionals to enhance student support
Support leaders and staff to respond effectively to student welfare
Collaborate with key stakeholders to design personalised plans for students
Understand and contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of relevant strategic initiatives and operational plans
Engage in continuous learning and contribute positively to a collaborative and respectful working environment aligned with the culture and values of CSPD
About you:
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of CSPD along with:
Have demonstrated understanding of the mental health needs of children and young people
Experience in leading and coordinating service provision
Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, with endorsement as a Neuropsychologist or Educational and Developmental Psychologist highly desirable.
Experience in the formulation and assessment of children and families and the provision of diagnostic reports.
The ability to build the knowledge and capability of school and system staff through professional learning.
Have excellent communication skills in a variety of environments and settings.

Relevant tertiary qualifications
AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
