About the opportunity
We have an exciting new role available in our school community at Bede Polding College, South Windsor for a Marketing and Communications Officer. This is a great role for an agile and forward thinking Marketing and Communications specialist to apply their skills to the learning environment. This is a permanent full-time position, however, flexible work arrangements may be accommodated for the right candidate.
The variety this role offers includes:
Development of strong client relationships and engagement with key stakeholders
End to end coordination and delivery of events.
Use data analytics and timely reporting which informs ‘best practice’ engagement and communications.
Build a library of professional high-resolution photos and videos.
Convey the evolving learning narrative of the organisation with engaging content, to communicate the narrative expressed through written, graphic and video formats through various online platforms.
Initiate social media communications and campaigns which showcases the learning narrative.
Manage & mentor a team or teams of students who produce video and social media content.
Other duties as directed by the Principal.
Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you should have the following:
Demonstrated marketing and event planning experience.
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
Creative ability to use video editing software applications to create professional videos.
Extensive graphic/video design skills and design thinking approaches to enhance outdoor learning spaces.
Excellent event organisation and problem solving skills.
A passion for imagination and creativity.
Experience with social media and communications.
Professional experience in design, communication, social media, visual/digital arts not essential.
Working with Children Check for paid work.
