Nagle College, is looking for an enthusiastic HSIE teacher to inspire and educate our students. This is a permanent full-time role. This position offers you the chance to make a lasting impact in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Responsibilities :
Structure lessons to meet the physical, social, and intellectual development of students.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment.
Adhere to the assessment schedule and maintain records of student achievement.
Provide extensive pedagogical knowledge and enhance the learning and teaching of the subject matter.
Work creatively and constructively within various school communities.
Set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students.
About You:
To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment with the core purpose and values of Nagle College, along with:
Qualifications and ability to teach HSIE Year 7-10.
Qualifications and ability to teach Stage 6 History.
Capacity to teach Studies of Religion.
Strong communication and organisational skills, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
Ability to motivate students and develop a life-long love of learning.
Skill in creating effective assessment techniques and differentiating learning activities.
Willingness to be an active part of the Nagle Community.
Qualifications and Accreditations:
We uphold the highest standards of child protection and education. To be eligible for this role, you must have:
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.
Eligibility to teach according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Relevant tertiary qualification.
