The Diversity Teacher will fit the following criteria:

• Demonstrated understanding of a case management approach to support the learning and wellbeing needs of identified students.

• Understanding of NCCD and Personalised Planning Processes for students with a disability.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including, parents and families, allied health professionals and classroom teachers.

• Excellent communication skills in working with a range of audiences.

• Recent experience as a highly competent classroom teacher.

• Experience implementing evidence based interventions such as TheMacqlit Reading Intervention Program would be a distinct advantage

The Organisation

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney and The Blue Mountains. 

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD'S Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
