Join our dynamic team committed to shaping the future of education! We’re seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead critical school infrastructure projects, ensuring the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and high-quality learning environments. 

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee project planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution, driving transformative outcomes for communities. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of design development and management, a strong understanding of construction and infrastructure, extensive experience in team management and a passion for making a lasting impact in Catholic education.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, Planning and Delivery, the Senior Development Manager Delivery is accountable for collaborating with stakeholders to oversee capital works project life cycles. More specifically, they are accountable for:

  • Managing and delivering high profile projects and leading a cross-portfolio team to assist the development and delivery of Major Works programs through providing financial, reporting, quality assurance and procurement services

  • Ensuring major works programs meet the organisation's performance requirements for educational facilities and deliver a  program of work that meets the organisation's objectives

  • Leading, engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and government authorities to ensure the effective planning, implementation and delivery of end to end capital works programs

  • Ensuring compliance, legislative and safety requirements are met in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures

  • Leading and mentoring team members to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and support to achieve objectives, fostering ongoing professional development and ensuring best practice and continuous improvement

  • Identifying and managing risks and dependencies affecting project outcomes, managing escalations and providing guidance and advice where necessary
