As a passionate and committed Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll bring your expertise to bear working with our students, teachers, families and other support networks.  Collaboration is key to working with us.  You enjoy actively liaising between stakeholders including our Principal, the leadership team, teachers and parents to provide insight into behaviour and co-design approaches to behaviour support across our student cohort.

This position also impacts our teachers and you’ll take an active role in promoting professional learning.  With a keen focus on student’s you’ll ensure student wellbeing is enhanced through your efforts and those of our teachers. 

The 2Pt Wellbeing Coordinator/ Mathematics Teacher will fit the following criteria:

-Strong knowledge base of the subject’s content, how mathematics is learned, what affects students’ opportunities to learn mathematics and how the learning of mathematics can be enhanced.

-Make a positive difference to the learning outcomes of the students taught.

-Sensitive and responsive to all aspects of the context in which they teach including use of technology and other resources, teaching practices and ways in which assessment and feedback is provided to students.

-Commitment to the continual improvement of teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional development.

-Work creatively and constructively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for self and students.

-Exhibit personal approaches characterised by caring and respect for others.

The Organisation

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney. 

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.

CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
