The Technology Services Team at Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is leading the way in technological infrastructure and investments to ensure that the strategic goals of the organisation are met. Our Applications team is responsible for the administration and security of Enterprise & System applications.  We are a dynamic and passionate team, committed to providing a forward-thinking and safe environment for our staff and students. 

About the opportunity:

The Applications Team has an exciting opportunity for an Applications Administrator to join a fun and busy team. This position will be working on our TechnologyOne System and is offered as a full-time permanent position, reporting to the Applications Manager. More specifically the successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Development and maintenance of finance system configuration, including documentation, instructions, and manuals

  • Developing and implementing configuration changes in accordance with change management procedures

  • Maintain routine systems administration tasks including security, financial delegations, and Chart of Accounts maintenance within TechnologyOne

  • Intensive knowledge and understanding of the permission structure and parameters of TechnologyOne

  • Manage ongoing administration tasks required in all aspects of Financial Systems and other integration applications including Cashless applications

  • Providing high quality customer service, support and assistance at Level 1 and Level 2 for all queries raised by the our end users

  • Management of internal ticketing for end users

  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational financial management services through identification, delivery and support of business process improvement initiatives.

  • Support major system change projects in conjunction with the other application teams 

About you:

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to our purpose and values along with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area and/or appropriate demonstrated experience

  • Relevant work experience within an Accounting environment (preferred TechnologyOne), including management and development of financial systems, financial data, procedure documents, process and controls

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet delivery deadlines

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
