We invite applications from English/HSIE Teachers to take up a permanent full time position at Delany College, Granville. 

About Us:

Delany College Granville, is a Catholic co-educational school for students from Year 7 to Year 12, providing contemporary, student-centred education in a nurturing environment. At Delany, we seek to ensure that our students, their development, wellbeing and career pathways are at the centre of all we do.

You will: 

  • Teacher Years 7-12 English and HSIE subjects 

  • Plan, prepare and deliver quality learning experiences 

  • Maintain competency and a current knowledge of relevant curriculum programs

  • Create supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices

  • Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents and other stakeholders as required

  • Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of the curriculum and regularly monitor, through observation and evaluation, the effectiveness of the teaching program

  • Participate in co-curricular activities, school decision making processes and professional development

Qualification & Experience: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Education

  • NESA accreditation

  • Statement of Service

  • Working with Children Check clearance (essential)

The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children. Applicants wishing to work in any of  the schools within the Diocese, either as a casual, temporary or full time employee, must be classified with the CSPD.  If you are not already classified, you will need to complete the online registration for teachers process found on the CSPD website.
