Are you a proactive and experienced Project Manager ready to make a real impact in the education sector? Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of strategic wellbeing programs and projects that support students across our school communities.
In this dynamic role, you’ll manage programs and projects end-to-end. From strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to managing budgets, mitigating risks and delivering measurable outcomes - this role supports the Student Support Directorate while working closely with cross-functional program and project teams to enhance student wellbeing and success.
In this role, you will:
Develop program and project plans for approval, implementing approved program and project plans, maintaining program and project schedules and leading and coordinating resources to meet project milestones and deadlines
Managing project budget from the project and resource plans
Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and work proactively to gain their support and endorsement by establishing contacts, conducting presentations/workshops and attending stakeholder meetings
Track and report on program and project progress, budget and resources to CSPD project delivery framework standards
Determining project resourcing requirements, recruiting staff and managing development and implementation of the project on a day-to-day basis
Identifying risks affecting the delivery of project outcomes and, where necessary, deploying contingencies to ensure completion of the project
Developing and managing regular project plan progress reports, project and steering committee meetings, and ensuring project artefacts are updated and maintained
Work with the procurement team to obtain external services and products, and manage vendors and service providers as part of project delivery
About You:
Relevant qualifications in project and program management.
Proven experience in managing projects and coordinating diverse teams, including technology-focused project teams.
Well-developed skills in stakeholder management, problem-solving and strategic planning.
Experience in delivering projects and programs within an education or school system setting (preferred).
A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and supporting Catholic values.
