Catherine McAuley Westmead and Parramatta Marist High School are part of the Westmead Catholic Community, providing a contemporary learning environment that grows the potential of students, fostering faith, leadership and sense of belonging.

We’re looking for an ICT Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team and become an important member of the community through a time of exciting transformation and change.

This position is part of the ICT and Facilities team, reporting to the Business Manager, while also leading the ICT team in supporting staff and students across both schools.

Working across Catherine McAuley and Parramatta Marist High School in Westmead, the successful candidate will lead and manage the educational and information systems, supporting the operations of new learning and teaching opportunities and coordinating integral ICT projects.

More specifically you will: 

  • Lead the efficient operation and integration of all lCT infrastructure including wireless and wired networks, VOIP, MFD, CCTV, security systems, audio visual, technology hardware, servers etc

  • Manage the technical aspects of all ICT systems including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, ITSM tools, cyclical maintenance and other educational tools and platforms

  • Liaise with the CSPD Technology and Information Services team on infrastructure and system matters

  • Develop and manage all third party contractual relationships with vendors and service providers

  • Provide necessary advice, support and management to facilitate the effective and seamless integration of technology into teaching and learning;

  • Facilitate and develop a short and long-term ICT plan for the site which is supportive of the current and future needs of users

  • Working with relevant staff in the provision of high quality professional development for ICT platforms, services and emerging and innovative technologies.

  • Oversee the ICT elements and setup of onsite and offsite events

  • Work in conjunction with leadership and/or event organisers to ensure all ICT components for onsite events are coordinated, set up and managed appropriately

What’s required?

To be successful you will demonstrate alignment to our purpose and values, together with experience in the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant area of study

  • NSW Working with Children Check 

  • Appropriate demonstrated experience in infrastructure, network and ICT projects

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail and compliance, ability to work under pressure
