About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at St John’s Primary, Riverstone for 2 days per week during Term 4, 2025. This short-term role is perfect for an educator who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, building strong relationships, and contributing to a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the developmental needs of all students

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Use assessment data to inform practice, identify barriers to learning, and support student growth

  • Manage the full learning cycle, including planning, teaching, assessing, feedback, and reporting to parents/carers

  • Actively contribute to the life of the school community, both within and beyond the classroom

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education

  • Current NESA Accreditation

  • Valid Working with Children Check clearance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education

Additional Information
Employment is subject to satisfactory child-related employment screening, including a valid Working with Children Check, and adherence to CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct. Applicants not yet classified with CSPD must complete the online teacher registration process via the CSPD website.
