About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reconciliation Action Plan Officer to join Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, based at our North Parramatta office.
You will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation and delivery of the CSPD’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for the period 2025–2027. You will work closely with the RAP Manager to advance First Nations affairs and contribute to CSPD’s mission of reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the RAP Manager in coordinating, advising, and implementing the Innovate RAP successfully.
Support the establishment of relationships and partnerships with First Nations communities and organisations.
Coordinate and support the Reconciliation Action Plan Advisory Committee and Working Group meetings, including preparing documents, capturing meeting minutes, and following up with actions.
Contribute subject matter input into the development of People & Culture strategies as outlined in the Innovate RAP.
Promote cultural awareness and understanding among staff, encouraging positive contributions to reconciliation.
Ensure timely documentation and reporting on the progress of the Innovate RAP to both Reconciliation Australia and internal stakeholders.
Provide administrative support for RAP Advisory Committee and RAP Working Group meetings.
Key Requirements:
A strong understanding of reconciliation and First Nations affairs, with a passion for fostering cultural awareness and engagement.
Experience in coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
