The Opportunity
Emmaus is seeking a skilled and passionate Mathematics Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. This position is Temporary Part-time and the successful candidate will be available to work on Monday and Tuesday until the 18th of July 2025

The successful candidate
The successful candidate will fit the following criteria:
Good knowledge of Explicit Teaching and Evidence-Based Learning
Pedagogical knowledge base and understanding of how Mathematics is learned, what affects students’ opportunities to learn Mathematics and how the learning and teaching of Mathematics can be enhanced.
Understanding how to differentiate learning to cater to student needs to maximise student learning.
Sound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback.
Committed to continually improving their teaching practice and taking opportunities for personal and professional development.
Work creatively and constructively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for themselves and their students.
Able to motivate students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning.
