About the opportunity:
We invite applications from suitably qualified teacher's aides who have a well-developed capacity to support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools. The teachers aide is primarily responsible for working collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes. This position type provides support and assistance to Teachers and students in a classroom setting to individual students or groups of students, or to support the operation of curriculum-related services in a school, such as those provided by a library, laboratory or a technology centre.
About you:
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St Francis of Assisi along with:
Relevant qualification/s and experience in a Pre-School and/or Kindergarten setting
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork.
Strong planning and organisation skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
Ability to motivate students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning.
