Marketing Specialist

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting our Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Parramatta? We're looking for a skilled Marketing Specialist to be part of our Communications & Engagement Directorate.

As a key member in our Marketing team, you will:

  • Provide strategic marketing advice to build and implement marketing communications and campaigns in line with business needs, including in regard to digital marketing, SEO and website

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of multi channel advertising campaigns

  • Evaluate and analyse data to ensure the effectiveness and optimisation of marketing communications activities and projects including suggesting and implementing improvements

  • Write copy for and proof promotional materials, advertising and campaigns

  • Coordinate and execute social media and email marketing campaigns, including email creation, managing contact databases and overseeing approval and engagement processes

  • Collaborate with team members to upskill and equip relevant school staff on contemporary marketing practices, strategies and with promotional and reputational management tools

  • Provide support to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or Digital Communications field

  • Minimum four years of marketing/digital experience, preferably in an education or community setting

  • Proven track record in developing successful campaigns and achieving goals

  • Strong understanding and application of strategic marketing principles within specific contexts

  • Demonstrated understanding of a variety of marketing platforms, including digital marketing

  • Ability to create, implement, and review effective marketing plans

  • Creative thinker in a process-oriented environment

  • Proficient in gathering and analysing data to inform marketing strategies

  • Skilled in managing collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including school principals and media agencies

  • Service-oriented and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Capable of efficiently and effectively managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines
