Located in Riverstone, St John's Primary School is a co-educational Catholic school committed to providing a comprehensive education from Kindergarten to Year 6. We offer a balanced and caring learning environment focused on the needs of each child.
We are seeking a Leader of Learning & Curriculum Implementation (Stage 1) to commence Term 1, 2025 on a Permanent Full-time basis.

Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the School.
Demonstrate the highest levels of personal and professional integrity.
Be committed, passionate and knowledgeable about teaching and learning. Drive the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School.
Lead staff in the implementation of new curriculum and initiatives in K-2 with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellence.
Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning.
Prepare students for changing demands of a global community.
Establish a positive relationship with students, their families and the broader community.
Build opportunities to enhance curriculum for students outside of the classroom.
What you can bring - as a Classroom Teacher:
An understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for primary years learners
Knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas
Knowledge of a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning
Ability to make content meaningful to students at different levels
A natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment
Well-developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills
A willingness to learn and a commitment to your own professional development
Essential Qualifications and Accreditations:
Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
