The opportunity:

Our Diversity Teacher will be instrumental in working and liaising with students, teachers, leadership, parents and allied health care professionals to develop plans to ensure all students flourish;

  • collaborating with teachers to ensure strategies outlined in personalised plans are being enacted daily;

  • guiding and educating support staff in their work in enhancing students skills to achieve personal goals through their work with both students and classroom teachers;

  • monitor and develop student personalised plans and support teachers in ensuring the plans are updated and clearly articulate the goals, skills and strategies required for each child to successfully access the curriculum;

  • working closely with the Diversity Leader of Learning to develop deeper knowledge and understanding of the needs of our students;

  • liaising and working with our School Counsellor and CSPD Inclusive Learning Team;

  • responsible for a class teaching load that will be negotiated with leadership when exploring the needs of the school.
