The Opportunity

The Curriculum Administration Officer works collaboratively with the College Executive Team to provide support to the teachers and students in the successful delivery of learning and pastoral outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The focus of this role is to provide high level executive support to the College Executive Team:

  • Student Reporting: setup, maintenance and generation of Student Reports using COMPASS.  This includes liaising with the Leaders of Learning, printing and distribution of reports and report summaries for all year groups;
  • Student Awards: Creation, maintenance and overall administration of the College Award including Graduation Certificates and Special Awards; and the production of certificates and trophies for College award nights and graduation ceremonies.
  • Assessment: Liaising with the Leader of Studies and Leaders of Learning in relation to assessments within the College and recording and maintenance of assessment dates for all year groups.
  • Administration of Excursions/Incursions – oversee pre-approvals for budget purposes, book venues and buses, record on College calendar, collect risk assessments, review parent letters, upload documents onto Google Drive;
  • Any other duties as assigned by Principal and/or Principal’s Delegate including Front Office duties

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration duties and knowledge of office procedures;
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills;
  • Advanced computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications (Google Mail, Calendar, Drive and Forms) as well COMPASS;
  • Ability to exercise responsibility, initiative, discretion, judgement and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines;
  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Interpersonal skills and experience working within a team environment;
  • Possess a high work ethic, commitment to excellence and quality in fulfilling work;
  • Flexibility with a high degree of motivation.
