St Matthew’s Primary, Windsor is a welcoming and faith-filled community where children are at the heart of all we do. Our enthusiastic learners are supported by dedicated teachers and a strong partnership with families.

We are seeking a caring and committed Classroom and Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a temporary part-time basis from January 2026 to the end of 2027.

About the Opportunity

The Classroom and Learning Support Assistant works collaboratively with teachers and school staff to:

 

  • Support the learning and wellbeing of students in classroom settings

  • Assist individual students and small groups to engage meaningfully with learning tasks

  • Contribute to the implementation of personalised learning plans

  • Support teachers in the delivery of curriculum and classroom activities

  • Assist in maintaining an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction when required

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with students

  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance (as required under NSW Child Protection Legislation)
