Parramatta Marist is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Officer to join their collaborative team on a Permanent Full-time basis commencing as soon as possible

About the role

It is essential that you; 

  • Be able to respond to all College facility related issues including minor repairs and general maintenance requirements.

  • Keep grounds and buildings presentable, clean, safe and useable for students and staff.

  • Lift and move equipment and furniture.

  • Set up for College events.

  • Supervise and coordinate contractors as required.

  • Occasional garden and lawn maintenance

  • Have knowledge of and the willingness to observe and implement WHS policies and practices.

  • Must hold a current driver’s licence.

  • Have demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Have demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines.

  • Have demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel.

  • Have excellent Communications skills.

  • The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment.
