Grounds Maintenance Officer
Catherine McAuley Westmead is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Officer to join their collaborative team on a Temporary Full-time basis commencing in Term 1, 2025.

The successful applicant will undertake day-to-day maintenance and minor works of the College facilities.
It is essential that you

Be able to respond to all College facility related issues including minor repairs and general maintenance requirements.

Keep grounds and buildings presentable, clean, safe and useable for students and staff.

Lift and move equipment and furniture.

Set up for College events.

Supervise and coordinate contractors as required.

Occasional garden and lawn maintenance

Work with livestock on the College's agriculture plot.

Have knowledge of and the willingness to observe and implement WHS policies and practices.
About you

Must hold a current driver’s licence.

Have demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Have demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines.

Have demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel.

Have excellent Communications skills.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment.

LF Forklift license desirable but not necessary.
A relevant trade qualification is desirable, but not necessary.
