About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Instructional Coach to lead learning through instructional leadership, evidence-based practice and a strong commitment to professional growth.

The Instructional Coach will:

  • Contribute to the delivery of the system strategic intent and learning agenda within the school context

  • Exercise Catholic leadership and foster the faith formation of students and staff

  • Lead the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practices and school action plan, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy

  • Coach teachers and model effective practice to support students at the point of need

  • Support teachers in using assessment and data to inform differentiated and personalised learning

  • Analyse and interpret student data to guide teaching and learning improvement

  • Inform and strengthen the school’s professional learning and capacity-building programs

  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility

Qualifications and accreditations:

  • Accredited tertiary qualification in Education (or a relevant degree with a graduate teaching qualification)

  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education

  • Experience in evidence-based literacy and/or numeracy intervention strategies (e.g. R3, EMU, TLP)

  • Demonstrated success in improving student learning outcomes

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively to improve practice

  • Current Working with Children Check

  • Australian resident or citizen
