St Michael Primary School is currently seeking a Diversity Teacher & Wellbeing Leader on a full-time permanent basis commencing Term 1 2026.
St Michael's Primary is one of the largest systemic primary schools in the Diocese of Parramatta and has a reputation for quality education and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities
The Wellbeing Leader is accountable for:

Promote meaningful and age-appropriate learning for all students

Work closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement strategies and adjustments for students, and support the creation and moderation of Personalised Plans (PPs)

Collaborate with the school counsellor, external agencies, families, and carers to support student wellbeing and engagement.

Co-design and implement school-based behaviour support plans for Tier 2 students and risk management plans for Tier 3 students plans for Tier 2 students and risk management behaviour plans for Tier 3 students.

Assist and co-teach with classroom teachers in planning and delivering programs that embed a diversity and inclusion perspective.

Assist teachers in identifying and prioritising learning goals for vulnerable and at-risk students.

Model inclusive teaching practices in order to build the capacity of classroom teachers
Qualifications, Accreditations, Experience:

Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).

Eligible according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree)

Appropriate demonstrated experience
