Key Responsibilities

Holy Family Emerton is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Primary RFF K-6 Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.

This role is to commence Term 3, 2026 and is Temporary Part-Time until the end of Term 4 2026, with a potential to extend.

The Primary RFF K-6 Teacher will fit the following criteria:

  • Ability to design developmentally appropriate lessons that meet students’ physical, social and intellectual needs

  • Strong understanding of curriculum content and learning sequences, including Religious Education

  • Skilled in applying effective teaching strategies that make learning meaningful

  • Ability to create safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environments

  • Consistent and fair behaviour management practices

  • Able to use assessment data to identify learning needs and improve student outcomes

Essential Qualifications and Accreditations

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese along with:

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) 
  • Statements of Service
  • Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
  • Religious Education qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them in line with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements
