St Clare's Catholic High School, Hassall Grove is seeking a passionate Teacher/Librarian to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Teacher Librarian to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. The Library Technician works collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.
The successful candidate
The successful candidate will fit the following criteria:

Supervising students in non-teaching periods

Receiving, issuing, distributing, stock-taking and safeguarding of teaching resources, goods, supplies, materials and equipment, other than dangerous goods

Providing technical assistance in the operation of a library, laboratory or technology centre
-
Oversee all areas of the Library including managing the budget and resourcing
-
Study programs and supervision

Monitor attendance data and follow up on attendance with students and families

Promote the importance of attendance at school
Qualifications

Working with Children Check clearance (essential)

Exceptional communication skills
-
Detailed knowledge of complex office procedures

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

Demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlines

Ability to interact with school staff, students and members of the school community

Ability to communicate with new prospective families to promote enrolment to the College

Prior knowledge of the Compass Student Portal would be seen as an advantage.
