The School

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and committed TAS teacher with a Food/Textiles specialisation to join our secondary teaching team and be a part of our school community to enrich the lives of our students. This is a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 1 2026.

Key Responsibilities

The TAS teacher will fit the following criteria:

  • An extensive knowledge of the TAS KLA syllabus , along with best practice programming and assessing.
  • Flexibility to teach across the context areas within Stage 4 Technology
  • Current knowledge of best practice explicit teaching, learning and assessing to ensure strong student learning outcomes.
  • An ability to differentiate learning to cater for a wide range of student learning needs.
  • A passion for STEM education and establishing partnerships with our KLA’s and external stakeholders to maximise learning experiences in an all girls context.
  • An ability to analyse learning data and collaborate with KLA peers to develop effective school improvement plans.
  • An ability to work innovatively and creatively with TAS staff and students to lead and inspire a culture of excellence.
  • Experience with Canvas LMS desirable not essential.

 

The Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education
  • NESA Accreditation
  • Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
  • Exceptional communication skills
