Bede Polding College is seeking a passionate and experienced Leader of Learning – TAS (Construction/Timber) to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. This full-time, permanent position includes a 2-point Coordinator allowance and requires demonstrated Stage 6 experience.

There is a possibility of an additional 1 Pt Leader of VET available to the right applicant.

About the Opportunity

As the Leader of Learning TAS (Construction/Timber), you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in teaching and learning within the TAS faculty. You will:

• Lead the development and delivery of innovative TAS programs, with a focus on Construction and Timber.

• Demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge and experience in teaching Stage 6 courses.

• Support and mentor teachers to enhance classroom practice and student engagement.

• Foster a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and high standards.

• Ensure compliance and alignment with NESA requirements and CSPD policies.

• Integrate technology, differentiation, and effective assessment strategies to maximise student learning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Education and current NESA Accreditation.

• Demonstrated experience teaching Stage 6 Construction and Timber.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to ongoing professional growth and the Catholic ethos of the College.

• A valid Working with Children Check.
