Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown is seeking a passionate and dedicated TAS / Industrial Technology Teacher to join our dynamic learning community in an ongoing permanent full-time position. Applicants with the capacity to teach Religious Education and/or VET Construction are highly regarded, though not essential.

You will bring

Qualifications and experience in teaching Industrial Technology and Technology

Capacity to teach in a workshop environment to meet NESA requirements

Strong pedagogical knowledge and an understanding of how students learn in TAS
-
The ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs
-
Effective classroom practice, including planning, assessment and feedback
-
A commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
-
The ability to work collaboratively within and beyond the school community
-
A passion for motivating students and fostering a lifelong love of learning

Experience in construction or related industry areas and/or the capacity to teach VET Construction or Religious Education is desirable but not essential

Relevant tertiary qualifications (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete)
