Key Responsibilities

As an English Teacher at St John XXIII College, you will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that inspires students to reach their full potential.   • Contribute to a faith-based environment that promotes holistic education
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to students’ intellectual, social, and developmental needs
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment with effective behaviour management strategies
  • Use assessment data to inform practice and support student growth
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families to enhance learning outcomes

Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check)
  • Accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete)
  • Experience supporting diverse learners is an advantage
