St Columba's Catholic College, Springwood are seeking a permanent, part-time Teacher's Assistant to work collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers and students in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes. This position is 4 days per week, working Monday - Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

Working in collaboration with a Teacher or group of Teachers in the implementation of learning and teaching strategies for both individual and groups of students

Supervising students in non-teaching periods (including on excursions)

Supervising students during examination periods and other duties, as directed by the principal.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' Teacher's Assistant experience (preferably in a secondary educational institution) and or a Tertiary qualification in the relevant area of study
- Experience in the delivery of Maclit Reading Interventions (or a willingness to be trained)
- Working with Children Check clearance
- The successful applicant will be required to work a minimum of four days per week, Monday to Thursdays, with the possibility of also working Fridays.
