School Administration Officer – Maternity Leave (4 Days per Week)

Bede Polding College is seeking an experienced and dedicated School Administration Officer for a temporary, part-time maternity leave position across Terms 1–3 in 2026 (4 days per week). As a key member of our front office team, you will contribute to the welcoming, efficient, and professional running of our school. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing front office reception and administrative support

  • Managing enquiries via phone, email, and in person

  • Assisting with attendance, records, and enrolment-related tasks

  • Preparing documentation, correspondence, and maintaining school systems

  • Supporting staff and school operations with general admin responsibilities

  • Providing first aid support and assisting student wellbeing needs

  • Other duties as directed by the Principal or their delegate

About You

  • Previous experience working in a school environment

  • Current First Aid training (HLTAID011 or equivalent)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Competence with digital systems, databases, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
