Bede Polding College is seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and organised Principal’s Executive Assistant to support the strategic and operational leadership of our vibrant and growing school community under Principal Greg Malone. About the Role

As the Executive assistant to the principal , you will:

 

  • Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Principal, managing calendars, communications, and daily operational priorities.

  • Coordinate meetings, events, and school activities, including logistics, documentation, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Support the implementation of effective office systems, policies, and workflows to enhance communication and administrative efficiency across the school.

  • Lead and support communication to staff, students, parents, and the broader community, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism.

  • Assist with staff operations including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and documentation to support smooth and timely processes.

  • Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including CSPD and community organisations.

  • Contribute to key school initiatives, strategic planning, and major project coordination in alignment with the mission and vision of Bede Polding College.

About You

We are looking for an organised and professional individual who brings:

 

  • Strong administrative and executive support experience, ideally within a school or complex organisation.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with staff, families, and external stakeholders.

  • High-level problem-solving skills and the initiative to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.

  • Experience coordinating events, schedules, and complex workflows.

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times.

  • A commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education.
