Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Secondary Learning, the Secondary Learning Outcomes Manager is accountable for:

  • Leading the development and delivery of system initiatives across curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and learning, in collaboration with the Head of Secondary, aligned to CSPD priorities and the Effective Learning and Teaching Model
  • Operationalising system priorities into actionable projects by establishing clear plans, timelines, risk management and success measures, and monitoring delivery against agreed outcomes
  • Applying data-informed and evidence-based approaches to analysing system, school and student data, evaluating current practice, identifying opportunities for improvement, and producing clear recommendations to inform decision-making
  • Engaging and managing key stakeholders through consultation, incorporating feedback into project design and delivery, and maintaining clear, timely communication to support alignment with system priorities and school contexts
  • Producing high-quality briefs, reports and presentations that synthesise complex information into clear, coherent and actionable direction for system leaders and schools
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently, maintaining oversight of progress, risks and dependencies, and adjusting plans responsively to ensure successful delivery
  • Leading and managing Education Offi cers by setting clear priorities, allocating work aligned to team deliverables, and ensuring outputs meet agreed quality standards, timelines and system requirements, using effective line management processes
  • Monitoring and reviewing the quality of work across the team, providing clear, timely feedback and guidance to support continuous improvement
  • Building staff capability through regular management practices, professional dialogue and targeted development to strengthen expertise and maintain staffing stability
  • Demonstrating professional judgement, initiative and adaptability in progressing work, defi ning next steps and responding to emerging priorities within a dynamic system environment

About You

  • Experience in the Education sector, particularly in Secondary Learning
  • A strategic thinker - the ability to hit the ground running and contribute to making a difference at scale!
