Position Criteria

• Qualifications to teach Science Stages 4–6 Strong knowledge of explicit teaching and evidence‑based approaches to Science learning

• Ability to differentiate and cater for diverse student needs to maximise learning

• Solid understanding of effective learning environments, lesson design, technology use, assessment and feedback

• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and continual improvement of practice

• Collaborative, creative team member who sets high expectations for self and students

• Able to inspire and motivate students to achieve and develop a love of learning

• Able to teach Physics, Mathematics and/or Religious Education is an advantage

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student)

• NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)

• Statements of Service

• Commitment to meeting CSPD’s Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment
