St John Paul II Catholic College is seeking an enthusiastic and faith-driven Religious Education & Studies of Religion Teacher to join our vibrant learning community in a temporary full-time capacity from January 2026 to January 2027.

About The Opportunity

As a valued member of our Religious Education faculty, you will:

 

  • Inspire students to explore faith, values, and moral development in line with the Catholic tradition

  • Deliver engaging and contemporary lessons in Religious Education and Studies of Religion

  • Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students

  • Use data, technology, and innovative pedagogy to enhance learning outcomes

  • Provide meaningful feedback and foster an environment of reflection and growth

  • Commit to ongoing professional learning and collaboration within a supportive school community

  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Principal or delegate

About You

To be successful in this rewarding role, you will demonstrate:

 

  • A strong commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education with the ability to teach Religious Education and/or Studies of Religion

  • NESA accreditation and current Working with Children Check clearance

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively

  • A growth mindset and a passion for inspiring students to think deeply and act with compassion
