St John Paul II Catholic College is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic HSIE Teacher for a full-time, ongoing position commencing January 2026 (Term 1). Proudly Catholic in our faith and tradition, we are dedicated to developing young people of strength, gentleness, and compassion. Our school day runs from 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM.
Experience in Economics and Business Studies will be well regarded.
Key Responsibilities

Ability to teach Economics and Business Studies

Extensive pedagogical knowledge and understanding of how subject areas are learned, the factors affecting student learning, and how teaching can be enhanced

Ability to differentiate learning to maximise student engagement and achievement

Strong understanding of learning environments, lesson planning, technology integration, and effective assessment and feedback

Commitment to continual improvement of teaching practice and active participation in professional development

Ability to work collaboratively and constructively within various school communities

Capacity to motivate students and foster a life-long love of learning
