Job Summary

Are you passionate about student wellbeing and driving real impact in school communities? The Student Support team at Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is on the lookout for applications to join the team as a Strive, Thrive, Learn (STL) Advisor.
In this role, you’ll work closely with schools across the Diocese to implement the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Framework, an initiative that drives improved student learning and wellbeing outcomes. In partnership with school leaders and staff, you'll help build proactive wellbeing structures, enhance staff capability and provide guidance on practices and student care.
The STL Advisor is responsible for
- Providing leadership and advisory support to schools to develop proactive wellbeing structures and processes.
- Collaborating with school leaders to implement the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) with fidelity to enhance student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
- Coordinating and enhancing the capacity and capability of school staff to offer a comprehensive range of support to meet student needs promptly.
- Acting as a liaison between CSPD Support Teams and schools, facilitating feedback and information sharing regarding student support services.
- Offering guidance and in-situ advice related to School Improvement Plans (SIPs) and ongoing initiatives that strengthen a positive culture within and across CSPD networks..
- Modelling evidence-based approaches by utilising shared leadership practices and data-driven decision-making aligned with the MTSS methodologies encouraged within CSPD..
- Assisting schools with systems, processes and data analysis to inform contextualised Tier 1 practices and student care coordination methodologies
What you'll bring
You’re an educational leader with a strong understanding of wellbeing frameworks, school improvement, and inclusive education practices. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in student wellbeing, learning support or educational leadership.
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church.
