St Agnes Catholic High School, Rooty Hill is seeking a passionate HSIE Teacher with the ability to teach Business Studies and VET Business Services. This is a permanent full-time position commencing in January 2027.

The successful candidate will

• Deliver engaging Business Studies, Business Services and broader HSIE learning experiences.

• Use contemporary and evidence-informed teaching practices to improve student outcomes.

• Develop students’ knowledge, practical skills and confidence.

• Maintain the required assessment, documentation and compliance standards for VET delivery.

• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and families.

Qualifications & Accreditations

The successful candidate will:

• Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.

• Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.

• Have qualifications and experience in Business Studies and relevant HSIE subjects.

• Hold the required VET trainer and assessor credentials to deliver Business Services, or be willing to obtain them.

• Demonstrate relevant vocational knowledge and industry currency.

• Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
