About the Opportunity

Emmaus is seeking a skilled and passionate RE Teacher with HSIE to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. This position is Ongoing Full-Time commencing in Term 3, 2026.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching RE & HSIE across Stages 4–6 with engaging, explicit and evidence‑based practice

  • Creating supportive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs

  • Using technology effectively to enhance learning, assessment and feedback

  • Collaborating with colleagues to set high expectations and deliver consistent, high‑quality learning experiences

  • Motivating students to achieve and develop a lifelong love of learning

  • Continuously improving practice through professional learning and reflective teaching

  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or willingness to obtain it

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education degree or fourth‑year student

  • NESA Accreditation (Conditional accepted)

  • Statements of Service

  • Valid Working With Children Check

  • Strong communication skills

  • Commitment to CSPD’s Accreditation to Work, Teach & Lead requirements
