Stage 6 Engineering Studies Teacher - School of Now - Temporary Part-Time (2 days a week)
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese’s School of Now is seeking an experienced passionate and dedicated Stage 6 Engineering Studies teacher to join our learning community. School of Now provides online and face-to-face quality educational opportunities for Stage 6 students to access a range of Preliminary and HSC courses.

Key Responsibilities
At School of Now, teachers work strategically to plan, prepare, teach, assess and evaluate student learning and are required to:

Plan, deliver and assess Stage 6 Engineering Studies coursework in alignment with NESA syllabus requirements and School of Now policies;

Design high-quality online learning materials, including interactive lessons and scaffolded Evidence of Learning tasks that support independent learning;

Provide timely, individualised feedback on student work, ensuring clarity, accuracy and support for improving student understanding;

Monitor student progress and engagement, using learning analytics, submissions, attendance records and communication logs;

Facilitate weekly Virtual Lessons and once a term all day face-to-face Masterclasses including practical experiences, ensuring accessibility and learner engagement;

Communicate regularly with students, parents, and Home School Mentor Teachers, keeping them informed about expectations and academic progress;

Implement effective classroom management strategies in online environments, maintaining respectful, productive digital learning spaces.

Maintain accurate student records and use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data to inform ‘next steps’ for students;

Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance

Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
